The setting

Etang Fontmerle, where you will discover the beauty of nature from an artist’s perspective, observing and sketching trees and flocks of migratory birds. Chapelle Notre Dame de Vie, which is located there, was painted by Winston Churchill and was also where Picasso had his last Workshop. In 1949 Jean Marais and Jean Cocteau were regulars here. Le Manoir de l´Etang, which you can see on the hill, was entirely renovated and is now a sumptuous hotel.
